Circle K at Elmira College:
- Circle K is one of the largest clubs on campus, we have over 50 members
- We are sponsored by Elmira Kiwanis
- We go to New York Speaking and District Conventions in the Fall and Winter
- To learn more about these activities feel free to visit the New York Site for CKI
- Some of the leadership opportunities that you can find within the club include:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Senator
- Historian
- Public Relations
- Committee Chair
- Chair for an Organization: this includes my Bethany Village Chair. Bethany village is an Nursing Home near the college that allows the Club to come in and do some different projects with the residents such as decorating Christmas trees for them.
- One of our largest and most fun projects that we do is our Circle K olympics. Every year we have teams sign up to play silly made up games for a 25 dollar fee in order to give the money we raise to a charity or organization that the club votes on. In 2009 we gave to Camp Kiwanis and in 2010 we gave to a Girl's home in Africa.
- Here are a few photos of last years Olympics:
